White with 1 !

The challenge at ww1 this month is
Pale Blue + white + flags

So I got the texture paste out and created some fluffy clouds and a page frame / border.

  

I then added a little Opal Dust to the louds to give them that shimmer effect, a touch of glimmermist , muslin & some magic :)

Sketch challenge

Over at challenge incorporated this month is this beautiful sketch by heather Waldron .

My Beautiful daughter Ella aged 7 decided to have her fistr go at a sketch challenge, and this is what she came up with - she did it all herself with no help from me.  She chosse all the colours / papers and embvellishments, I am really proud of you baby girl you did an awesome job !

Some fab news for the day:)

I thought I would just take a quick peek to see what all the challenges are for this month, and I stumble upon my favourite white with 1, mainly because of the restrictive challenge with the colours, and guess what !  I wona voucher with Scrap Therapy for May;s layout :) :) :)  big grins, never one to turn down money towards new beauties :)
Thanks WW1 , Scraptherapy and all the wonderful DT'ers :)

A gift from heaven

Well this month I have decided to have a play along at white with 1 , the challenge this month is white + cream+ chipboard .
The colour combination appealed to me and I knew I had just the photo!
So this is what I came up with .
Items used:
Bazzill White - masked with Perfect Pearls Biscotti, Heidi Swapp Butterfly mask, and a Tattered Angels fence and gate mask.
Dusty Attic Chipboard, inked with Tim Holtz pciket fence white distress stain.
German Scraps Angel wings
Heidi Swapp transparency butterfly overlay.
Prima Marketing Flower and spray.
Machine Stitching.

Christening card

A little princess is getting christened this weekend and as her godmother to be I made a special card.
Lots of Tim holtz distress ink in Victorian velvet and spun sugar , I used his brand new and couldn't do without already, distress markers in the matching colour ! A little muslin to soften, some stamping with a stamp it appasionista music stamp and a kaisercraft botanical acrylic stamp .
