In Every Girl there is a GODDESS

For my upcoming trip to the Sydney SIA  I have been busily preparing  a page and an off the page project for one of the Magazines.  The theme is DIVA  and here is my submission.   I really enjoyed this challenge, and a little sad it has come to the end !  but I guess that gives me more time to concentrate on other stuff as well!  hahahah

I am off to Sydney to attend the SIA (Scrapbooking Industry Association) where I get to do some classes/ make and takes and network, to bring back even more ideas, projects,  products just for you! Cant wait....watch this space for my updates!

Tim's box of Curiosities!

I never thought I would ever be so excited about a book that wasn't Twilight related ! hahaha   but Tim Holtz has delivered the goodies once again.... I have to say  all 77 pages of it are packed with ideas and inspiration, and he explains to you how to use all of his products and more.... which as a Scrapbooking shop owner is something I find myself doing everyday, but even I the 'brain of Product knowledge' as some kindly descirbe me, dont know everything, or even pretend to know everything...after all I am only human and even I have to download the brain to fit more in! hahahaha
This new CHA release  Bible ( of the art world variety ) is called  ' A Compendium of Curiosities ' by Tim Holtz    .........  & I tell ya it does answer all those curious questions!   LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

The Brain is already whirring with heaps of new ideas!!!!!   :)  I dont think the smile is wide enough! X

Well there's always an excuse but hey you knew that right?  As always there is something I have to do other than update my blog,  but I have been working on a few more pages / projects for classes etc, as well as the newsletter, new DT members, and some more help to take the pressure off of all the back end stuff I have to do to keep it all moving........  and out of 7 weeks back at school, I have managed 2.5 weeks where all 3 of them have been there together without one or another being sick!  does it ever end ? hahaha
Anyway here is a share to keep you all going.
The 2 beautiful girls of the family, my baby girl , and my beautiful niece. 

What a year... it's february already and where has the time gone!

Dared to take some time off to get the kids all organised for school,  that's all 3 of my babies at school now, and for the first 3 days it was great , a taste of real freedom! hahaha,  so started back to work this week, and the first day no 1 son is off sick!  couldnt beleive it... anyway he has been very sick and is currently being tested for Glandular Fever so I guess my freedom is over temporarily! of course I really feel for the little guy, he also has ulcers in his mouth and cold sores round his face, he has just sat for 6 days solid and slept / watched tv, he is drinking ok, but does not want to eat anything.    When your kids are sick, don't you just wish you could take it all away for them.  Here's hoping you get better soon little guy! and here's a few first day of school piccies for no 2 and 3  and back to school for # 1 . !

I am working on some stuff now, so I will get round to adding some more shares!  until the next time .... Happy New Year !  (if you celebrate Chines New Year that is!)

Where the heack have I been ? Busy Busy Busy

Sorry it;s been so long since I posted on the blog, I have just been so busy busy busy, arent we all though, amongst other things, I have been preoccupied planning and creating for all the upcoming classes before christmas. 
We had a fab melbourne Cup day of craft food and fun, and as such have been asked for a christmas party so, never one to say no to a challenge, the planning is underway.

In addition as a response to my Twilight pages, I have been begged by all yuo addicts to do a class, knowing that the pages were quite expensive in the materials department.....not that I have access to lots of spoils! there was no cost spared there, it would prove to expensive to hold a class on the pages, as they were really only for showcasing products and of course Edward Cullen! ...............  so I have come up with a
 'My book of Twilight' instead.... I really enjoyed doing it as it is not something I do on an everyday basis, and I am sure that all of you booked in will be suitably impressed with the result.    This has all been made from scratch cover and all....I had to scratch up on my book binding skills that was for sure! he he

It all happened at TWILIGHT..Then the NEW MOON set in!

Well its official I have gone totally mad!  nah only joking! This months challenge for the FACEBOOK group is 'All things spooky'  as its the month for all Hallow's.  and well I have been badgered for quite a while now by lots of you mad Twilight addicts to do a 'TWILIGHT' page,  so I succummed, on the understanding that it would only be Edward I scrapped and not any of the other Characters..... whilst doing it I think I worked out the attraction, he does have an uncanny resemblance to James Dean!  only as Edward Culen though and not as Robert Pattinson! hahaha   so anyway there they are..... the results of a Girls night Scrap! we had loads of fun.

Once I had finished that one I could not resist moving onto New Moon,   hey who knows I might just go ahead and do Eclipse & Breaking Dawn... why the heck not! hahahaha

I took full advantage of our well stocked workshop and went to town on Red Velvet Glimmermist, & Silver Bells.  Heidi Swapp Mask, Prima Flowers (just oh so appropriate for these pages)  Creative Imaginations Papers, Embossed the stamped flourishes, Basic Grey Bling Heart, Scrapbooking Bitz E C Bling Initials, and 2 crafty chipboard accent, as well as Kraft carstock, and Core'dinations new Gemstones range, Jasper ( how appropriate!hahah) and Black Tie.
